WELCOME

St. Matthews as a parish is part of the Anglican Mission in the Americas. We seek to be loyal to the essential Anglican Heritage rooted in Scripture, the Book of Common Prayer, 1662 and the teaching of the Thirty-Nine Articles. We have moved to the contemporary language version of 1662, sponsored by the AMiA. In this way we may be understood as being Biblical, Reformational, and Liturgical. The new 1662 prayer book can be obtained hard copy or electronic format by calling or emailing the AMiA.

We meet at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday for Sunday school (nursery provided). We meet at 10:45 a.m. for worship. Holy Communion service is the first and third Sundays of the month, Morning Prayer service the other Sundays, with a service in contemporary language when a fifth Sunday occurs, called "Service of the Word". There is also a younger child group approximate ages 6-10 that meets at 10 AM.

We meet for prayer every first Tuesday of the Month at 7:15 PM.

We have a fellowship meal the first Sunday of the month immediately following worship. All are welcome!

We encourage anyone who is interested to sign up for the Lay Academy of Theology at Beeson Divinity School at www.beesondivinity.com
